Hey, hey, hey! Happy Tuesday! You know how much I love talking about trending fashion. One piece of clothing that I love the most is not something that’s a new trend, it’s something that I have been reaching for since I was a little little girl: a simple and comfy t-shirt! I’ve always, always been a t-shirt kind of a girl. I love to be comfortable yet stylish, and that is exactly the kind of outfits I want to share with you today! T-shirt and skirt outfits, super trendy, and super comfortable.
Comfort meets style is important, especially if you are always on the go. But even if you are not, why waste time trying so hard to be stylish and neglecting the comfort? One of my favorite ways to style a comfy t-shirt is to pair it with a skirt. It’s a fun and stylish way to be casual and comfy all day long. There is something so naturally chic about a t-shirt and skirt outfit, don’t you think? Below I have shared with you eight different skirt styles with two different examples to show you how to style each skirt to fit your personal style. Enjoy!
Pleated Skirt
How undeniably sweet and cool are these pink pleated skirt and t-shirt outfits? What I love the most is how each outfit has such a similar skirt yet a totally different style and vibe overall. The grey knot-top with white flats gives off such a flirty and chic vibe, where the Harley tee, black hat, and sneakers create a total grunge look. You absolutely don’t need to get a pink pleated skirt, but I can’t help but share two ideas with pink! You know I love my pink!
Black Denim Skirt
Create a super chic look by pairing a t-shirt with a black denim skirt. Try an oversized fit tee for a more casual look, or opt for a fitted tee for a formal vibe. Either way, tuck in your t-shirt for an easy and stylish look.
Animal Print Skirt
A daring and fun fashion choice: an animal print shirt! I love the subtlety found in the first greyed-out outfit and the boldness of the eye-catching second outfit. These examples show you that wearing animal print doesn’t always make you stand out (especially if you don’t want to). But if standing out is the look you’re going for, there are easy ways to do so with an animal printed skirt.
Denim Skirt
I think it is really easy to automatically think mini skirt when you mention “denim skirt.” But as the first of my two examples below will show you, you can still wear a denim skirt without it being “mini.” Of course, my second example is much shorter, because like I said: you automatically think of mini! I just want to show you that if a mini skirt is not what you want, you can still pull off a denim skirt outfit! Both look are super cute and casual and can fit the style of anyone.
Floral Print Skirt
A white graphic tee, knotted and paired with a flowy floral skirt is seriously so flirty and fun! This will be a repeat outfit you will want to wear again and again all summer long. I can’t blame you, it is the definition of comfort meets chic. Go for a midi or short option, like my examples below, or opt for a much longer cut to fit your style.
Black Leather Skirt
When I think of summer, I rarely ever think of leather. But these two perfectly styled t-shirt and leather skirt options below are giving me major summer vibes! Can’t bring yourself to wear leather in the heat of summer? File these two ideas away for your end of summer outfits. A leather skirt can be a great transition piece from summer to fall.
Wrap Skirt
A wrap skirt and t-shirt outfit is seriously so chic you could easily pull this look off at the office! Such a versatile piece of clothing, a wrap skirt can be a print or solid color and it is still going to have such a fashionable and classy look about it. I love how well-defined each skirt looks paired with a simple t-shirt. Even with a bolder t-shirt, the skirt steals the show.
Long, Button-Down Skirt
Flowy, fun, and functional. Button-down skirts are a feminine wardrobe staple that allows you to decide if you want to show a little leg or not. Perfect for every day casual wear, or a fun date night go-to. Tuck in your tee and add a belt to create a defined waist, or completely show off your waist by knotting a tee. Whichever look you opt for, you are sure to be so boho chic!
Suede Mini Skirt
Suede in summer? Absolutely! You’re going to love how undeniable chic and cool you will look by just pairing it with a t-shirt!
