Happy Friday and happy early 4th of July! If you have caught any of my July 4th themed posts lately you already know how much I love the holiday because it is also my birthday! Sorry, America — you gotta share with me! It’s always been a super fun birthday — fireworks and your whole country celebrating together is a total win. Especially as a kid, it can be quite the bummer when it’s a rainy 4th, which is exactly what we had last year. This year we look totally in the clear. It’ll be hot hot hot with clear skies. Bring on the fireworks!
Today I want to share some of my favorite July 4th ideas that I am absolutely loving! With beauty, fashion, home decor, party decor, food, and dogs — my list of July 4th favorites has it all for you! Enjoy!
You know I love having fresh flowers in the house all the time. If you caught this photo on my Instagram you may have noticed they looked a tad pinker. These are actually red, perfect for July 4th, but using the Lightroom app ended up making them look pink. Which aesthetically fit better with the rest of my pictures, so I didn’t fix it (like I did for here) You can never trust Instagram, am I right? Go get some beautiful red flowers, too!
Did you catch my latest nail post on star nails with summer colors? I plan on recreating a look just like this today so my nails can be July 4th ready by tomorrow!
Sharing this awesome July 4th party decor idea with you for two reasons. Reason #1 – it is so undeniably cute! Taking notes for future parties. Reason #2 – I wanted Miley Cirus stuck in your head, too. You’re welcome.
I love creative July 4th photography with sparklers! Photography involving sparklers, in general, is always so much fun! Aside from my sparkler wedding photos, I’ve always wanted a fun July 4th photo. Maybe this is the year!
I love love love this decorated kids playhouse! Especially because I am currently working on my own playhouse makeover, and next year I am definitely adding July 4th decor to it! So cute!
I am really thankful I have a dog that is not bothered by fireworks. In the past, I have had dogs that shake and pant and cry — it’s so stressful for them and for us to try to keep them calm. Tomorrow my girl will be stylin’ in her American flag bandana just like this sweet pup!
I am really excited that I just got a new scrunchie scarf for my hair. I will absolutely be sporting it all day tomorrow. And today, because it is RIDICULOUSLY hot out. Hair up! Need more hair scarf ideas?
I am all about July 4th apparel. If you caught my post on July 4th outfit ideas, you read how I used to always wear the classic Old Navy tee as a kid. Who didn’t? I love finding super cute July 4th outfit ideas like this one!
Along with July 4th comes the cookout food! We have been gobbling up watermelon like crazy lately, mainly because my son is super obsessed with it. I love this idea of making the slices look like popsicles!
Need a little cookout wall or table decor? How cute are these (free!) July 4th popsicle cut-outs by Hey Let’s Make Stuff?! This image can also be used as fun phone wallpaper.
Love this July 4th confetti photo! The last time I attempted a confetti blowing photo like this my husband and I couldn’t breathe we were laughing so hard. Needless to say, the photos were a total fail. So I am always super envious and impressed with beauties like this!
Another July 4th decorated kids playhouse because I am obsessed and all I search Pinterest for these days! If this isn’t the coolest kids’ playhouse, I seriously don’t know what is!
And finally, another patriotic pup because why not? I’ve never heard anyone say “that’s enough, I’ve seen too many dogs” —probably because I don’t surround myself with that kind of negativity. Want to see even more cute dogs?
Thanks for stopping by! If I have mistagged a photo and it belongs to you please email me with a link to your photo so I can give proper credit.
