How To Have a Breakfast at Tiffany’s Bridal Shower
Throwing a bridal shower can be both a lot of fun and a lot of work. You plan for months, picking apart every special detail to make sure the day is perfect for the bride-to-be. You scan Pinterest night and day, saving all shower ideas until it hits you — why not make the day even more special for her and tailor the shower to a theme that is specific to her!
Recently I had the privilege to plan and throw a surprise bridal shower for my best friend and bride-to-be.
Over the past 16 years of friendship I know for certain she loves anything blue and she loves Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast At Tiffany’s.
Perfect.
START WITH THE INVITES
Esty is a great place to find customizable invites to fit any party theme. Etsy has numerous Breakfast at Tiffany themed bridal shower invites for you to choose from!
Keep in mind most of the invites on Etsy are digital downloads. Don’t get discouraged by this; all this means is you will need to purchase the digital download from Etsy and upload it to another site for printing.
I chose to use Vista Print. This site is incredibly easy to use, has fast shipping, and offers promo codes regularly for discounts.
Games, Gifts, and Thank you’s
Bridal bingo is always an easy and fun choice for bridal showers, especially if you have a fairly large party to entertain. This is the bridal bingo template used for this shower – it’s customizable to a Tiffany Blue color!
For game prizes, place a gift card or small gifts in Tiffany box look-alikes that are both inexpensive and easy to put together.
Remember to have Thank You cards ready for the bride-to-be, and ask all guest to fill out their name and address on the envelopes. These Tiffany Blue Thank You’s were perfect.
FOOD & DRINKS
Plates, napkins, straws, cups, cupcakes toppers – all Tiffany blue!
I found really great customizable plates and napkins: you can find the plates here and napkins here! But they are a little more expensive because they are customized! There are lots of really cute non-customized options as well!
Just like Vista Print, this site is always offering really great promo codes to its customers, and if you are throwing a large party this is especially important to help you save!
I created a mimosa bar (see decor below) where I offered an assortment of cute Tiffany blue paper straws. These straws are super inexpensive and offer a variety of colors to fit your party theme!
I also found really great Robins Egg Blue cups (they matched the Tiffany decor perfectly) and these, too, are offered in a variety of colors and sizes to fit your party’s specific needs!
For dessert, the cupcakes were decorated with blue icing, large blue sprinkles, and Tiffany cupcake toppers. I found these on Esty – they were really cute and arrived looking exactly like the picture (see photo below).
Along with the cupcakes, we had Breakfast At Tiffany’s cookies, special ordered and made by KatieCakes. These cookies were adorable and a huge hit! Far too pretty to eat — but honestly, who can resist a cookie? (see in photo below!)
Create The Decor
My favorite part of the party planning process: the decor!
I hung up multiple Audrey Hepburn pictures all around the party, I used these balloons here, which are white with Tiffany blue hearts, and I created everything else.
I had so much fun creating signs, banners, and more in the beautiful shade of Tiffany blue.
For the banner, mimosa bar sign, picture frame photo prop, and wine bottle signs that are below, I have linked them all to tutorials on how to make them yourself!
Keep in mind you do not need to make Breakfast At Tiffany’s decor, but feel free to use my helpful tips to create your own party decor in the theme of your choice!
MIMOSA BAR
The blue tubs I used for ice, juice, and champagne I found at Target, the mimosa glasses are from the Dollar Store (how great is that!), and the two signs “Mimosa Bar Darling” and “Pop the BUBBLY she’s getting a HUBBY” I made.

Banner
Hang a banner behind the bride-to-be while she opens all of her gifts!
Banners are super easy and inexpensive to make.

Photo Prop
Everyone loves taking photos at parties – renting photo booths is a huge wedding and party craze of the moment.
To help create and encourage photos, I created a photo frame prop. Click here to see how you can easily make one too!
Wine Bottle Gift
A Year Of First’s is a fun gift to give the bride-to-be.
It’s fun to reach all those milestones throughout your first year of marriage and have a bottle of wine each time to celebrate.
I recommend putting all the bottles in a basket or storage bin that the bride has on her registry!

Small Paper Flowers
I created small paper flowers as decorations to the Mimosa Bar sign and Photo Frame Prop.
Small paper flowers take little to no time especially when you get the hang of it!
