Happy Friday! Last week my husband and I had our noses buried in our phones for a solid two days looking up new couches. To keep this short and not embarrassing, we were looking at new couches because 1. ours broke, and 2. it was about to be Presidents Day, so the sales were calling our names. One couch that caught our attention was this beautiful emerald green sectional from Wayfair. We were smitten, it entered our cart immediately.
Our plush emerald green dream of a couch still sits in our carts, waiting. I think the following days of watching our kids and dog cover our current couch in fur and yogurt and peanut butter fingers was the main setback. Just a hunch. Because no matter how many therapeutic, plush dog beds you buy they find their way up. No matter how many napkins you place on the kitchen table, kids’ faces and fingers are still covered. All the time. Wiping hands and fingers is like an Olympic sport for parents.
